Changing lines (counted from the bottom): 2, 4.

What to read

Two changing lines: read both line texts of the original hexagram; the upper one is the main one. (Rule set out by Zhu Xi in the Yixue qimeng.)

Hexagram 32 恒, line 4

田无禽。

The fourth line, undivided, shows a field where there is no game.

Hexagram 32 恒, line 2

悔亡。

The second line, undivided, shows all occasion for repentance disappearing.

The two hexagrams

Hexagram 32 恒 — judgment

恆:亨,无咎。利貞,利有攸往。

Hăng indicates successful progress and no error (in what it denotes). But the advantage will come from being firm and correct; and movement in any direction whatever will be advantageous.

Hexagram 15 謙 — judgment

亨,君子有終。

Khien indicates progress and success. The superior man, (being humble as it implies), will have a (good) issue (to his undertakings).
